This building was constructed in 1927 as a public school and it functioned as such until 2002. It reopened in 2006 as a public library. This completely renovated space is now a showpiece of architecture and ambiance. It has been described by some as "the living room of the community." A special feature is the library's mural located inside the main entrance which depicts life in Charlevoix in 1927.
