The hotel exterior and rooms are in really bad shape….even the parking lot was dirty and in need of repair. The hotel room we stayed in had a broken window (wasn’t locked and had no screen in it), the lamp shades were all warped and stained, the curtain for the window was broken, sink didn’t drain well, and there was paint splatter all over like they had children paint the room for them.
The hallways smelled of smoke.
The breakfast in the morning had expired milk.
The pool is about as large as a mid-sized SUV and there were NO chairs in the pool area to sit down. People started to cart them in from the breakfast area.
THERE WAS A HUGE SPIDER IN MY ROOM.
We were only there for about 8 hrs.
The front desk staff slashed the price in half after we complained.
And I could tell the beds were new. After I walked into the room and saw how nasty it was the first thing I did was rip the blankets off to make sure I wasn’t sleeping on something disgusting. Also, there was a dumpster behind the hotel full with nasty mattresses and box springs.
AmericInn should be ashamed to claim this one…and you couldn’t pay me enough to stay here again.
This was the worst AmericInn I have ever stayed at. It was dirty beyond belief; floors unvacuumed, toilet bowl was brown, sink was cracked, and I even found a dead bug laying on the menu in the room...
This was the worst AmericInn I have ever stayed at. It was dirty beyond belief; floors unvacuumed, toilet bowl was brown, sink was cracked, and I even found a dead bug laying on the menu in the room. The air conditioner didn't cool and I woke up at 4 in the morning too hot to go back to sleep. Also the back enterance to the hotel is not secured in any way so females traveling alone beware! The small pool is in a tiny room and was only large enough for kids 5 and under to be happy with.

We rented 2 rooms for 1 week. I must say I was a little leery at first. We booked these rooms for what seemed cheap, and the reviews I read did not help my skepticism. We arrived to a very friendly staff. We checked in and got our room key. When we got to our room I put the key into the key card reader and held my breath as the reviews replayed in my head. I was surprised to see that the room was not as bad as I expected. There were a few amenities. We ate breakfast there every day and it was better than most bargain hotels I have booked. There was also a very small pool, but it was very clean. If I have to make any criticisms, It would be that there were a few inconsistencies with housekeeping. The staff friendliness made up for any of these issues. Lee, who worked the front counter, was exceptional. I had conversations with him every day and he always brought a positive energy to our conversation. He also helped with the many special requests we had without hesitation. I will definitely be staying here the next time I visit. If it is at full occupancy, I will at least stop by to talk to Lee.

Pros: Breakfast - while your typical hotel breakfast, it was convenient for us. The weekly rate we got was pretty good, I don't know if we could have gotten better. The place seemed clean & most of the staff was personable if not knowledgeable. Sadly the most helpful individual didn't speak a word of English. The room windows could open! Ahhh fresh air!
Cons: The room floor was riddled with tack strips. While none of them poked through, they were all over the floor and in the oddest of locations. Made it rough on walking barefoot in the room. I don't believe the bathroom vent actually vented anywhere. The internet access was pretty bad.... not even good enough for most of the simple games on my iPod or laptop. I wasn't sure the towels and sheets were replaced as requested. The hotel shampoo, conditioner and soap types would change on a daily basis, as if they didn't have any supplies yet. Several people staying at the same time as us said they were missing sheets or blankets in their rooms. It was a crap shoot what types of bathroom towels we had, some days there was only shower towels, sometimes we would have washcloths, sometimes it was nothing but dishtowels. As for any appliances in the room, ours had a cube fridge. Some rooms had a coffee maker or a microwave, some had nothing. The TV selection was pretty poor, 18 stations. If I have to pay for TV at least get some good programming. Didn't even have the common core stations. The air conditioner/heater was a under-the-window unit hidden behind the curtains. I had to stuff something in the crack to hold the curtains back from over top the AC unit.
Neutral: Pool, it looked kinda small. I didn't use it.
MIA: I never found any exercise equipment and the Business Office hadn't been ordered yet.
No good or bad choices for room location that I could see.
Overall: If you don't plan on staying in the hotel much, this is a great place for the cost.
