We left one of the most horrible motels (roadway inn) to stay here it was heaven! Very nice staff so very nice!!! Rooms were so clean n smelled so good!! They just treated us so nice. And will def inetly stay here agai n.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the AmericInn in Wahpeton on Christmas Eve. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff. The room was nicer than we anticipated and the bed was absolutely one of the most comfortable in any hotel experience we have had. And the great variety of a substantial breakfast took away the concerns of finding a cafe open on Christmas morning. We wish them well in the New Year. We will be back.

We've stayed at a number of Americinns over the years, including this one. A recent remodel and extremely friendly staff made for a very enjoyable visit. Our single-king, booked through an online service when our first accomodations for this trip didn't work out, actually was not available. We were upgraded to a single-king with whirlpool, which my wife seemed to enjoy quite a bit. The bed was excellent, the HD television more than adequate, the shower/bath up to our requirements. (There were more mirrors than a middle-aged couple needs, however: two large mirrors flanking the whirlpool and one very large mirror spanning the length or the sink area.) Breakfast consisted of a large assortment of items, ranging from make-your-own waffles to cold cereal, fruit, a selection of breads, sweet rolls and two other hot items each morning. The hotel is located on the north side of town, on the Highway 210 bypass. It's only a few minutes from downtown and just down the highway from a Walmart, a truck stop and two convenience stores if you're struck by the late night munchies. If all of the Americinns have been refurbished as well as this one, I'll give them all some thought as I travel.

The best place to stay in Wahpeton is the Americinn lodge & Suites. I will not stay any where else in Wahpeton. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel in all is nice and quiet. A great place to stay.

VERY quiet motel. This motel is my fist choice when visiting the Wahpeton area for this reason alone. The beds & pillows were quite comfortable, though there's only a half piece of material for a bedspread. An extra blanket would have been nice because, even though one can adjust the room temp., I prefer a couple blankets when I sleep. The staff was polite & friendly. The rooms & pool were clean. Pretty good continental breakfast selection.
