We stayed here for the Special Olympics State Basketball Championships. We loved this place. We felt very welcome. There were a lot of athletes staying here and we were all treated very well by the staff. Super friendly and helpful. The athletes were all treated with respect. The beds were super soft and comfortable and I slept like a rock! The breakfast was great. Waffles, sausage, cereal and toast, the usual stuff. But it was plentiful and well maintained. We will definitely stay here next year if we make it to State!

We had such an enjoyable stay here. Everything was clean and comfortable, but what stood out the most was the exceptionally warm and friendly staff. Every single one of them went out of their way to give a genuine smile, hold the door or ask if we needed anything else. I own a small motel and I know how hard it is to get reliable staff members let alone such kind people. It was great to see!!! Thank you!!!

We stayed at the AmericInn in July of 2014 and stayed in one of the whirlpool suites. Upon arrival, the female party working the front desk was professional, friendly and struck up a conversation. We learned that our room was immediately above the open lobby and I was a bit concerned about noise with the morning breakfast rush the next day (more on this later).
The room itself looked updated and fresh on the surface. The bathroom itself (vanity separate from the toilet/shower area) was much smaller than expected. Upon closer inspection of the room, the shower drain and head were in need of some CLR treatments to remove the buildup that appears to have been there for quite some time. There were some visible scuff marks on the two-person whirlpool, but nothing major there. The rest of the room appeared to be kept up well (no cracking or paint chips). The toilet in our room flushed, but you literally had to push down with two hands to get it to flush. Upon closer inspection, the "guts" of that particular toilet need to be replaced (an easy repair). In addition, the room did not have an iron in it (but it did have an ironing board). Luckily we were staying with another couple and their room had an iron in it that we could use.
The TV, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker are what you would expect from a "budget" hotel. Nothing to write home about here, but they all worked. We did place some beverages in the fridge around 4:30PM and found that when we returned to the room around 10:00PM they were "chilled" but not cold. I didn't check to see if I could have tweaked anything on the fridge so I can't be too critical here. The information on the TV channels were all incorrect. I guess I would expect that a hotel would take the time to update their channel listing for those out of the area.
We used the pool area which is well maintained. As mentioned by other reviews, both the pool (unheated but indoor) and the hot tub have WAY to much chlorine in them. If you are sensitive to this sort of thing, I would refrain from using either. They have two arcade games (one still in good working condition, the other not) and a claw game. They also have a pool table in the swimming pool area (pay to play) but we didn't use it at all during our stay.
The beds are semi-firm and the pillows are almost too soft for my taking (others may feel different). I felt like I had a hard time getting support from the pillow throughout the night and ended up using a couple.
The hot tub in our bedroom was a standard 2 person tub with minimal jets. It worked fine with the exception of the waterfall spout spilling water out of the side when it was running. The water didn't go onto the floor so it wasn't a big deal. I found it interesting that they even provided a packet of bath salts to use.
Breakfast in the morning was your standard budget breakfast with waffle makers, cereal, assorted pastries, eggs, sausage, juice, milk, etc. The waffle batter did not taste very well compared to other chains that we have stayed at. The eggs were scrambled and clearly not "actual cracked eggs". All in all though, it was a fine breakfast and the female party working the area was very pleasant and welcoming. We did not hear any noise from the breakfast area in our room at all. It was a very quiet room.
All in all, this wasn't a bad stay, but there are small things that the management would be able to do to make the stay even better. From simple repairs to putting more value into the breakfast offerings, I think they would be able to make the stay even better for those who choose to stay here. s

This was a pretty mediocre experience, and only gets an average review because the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were quite basic and quiet, which was nice being so close to a main road. We used the hot tub in the morning and the chlorine was so strong that it made our eyes water and body itch. We followed that up with breakfast and the waffles and bagels were quite chewy and not fresh tasting. Not a bad value, but certainly not a place we'd recommend.
