The only prison to house the infamous Butch Cassidy was built in 1872. The Wyoming Territorial Prison was restored and renovated in the 1990s by the efforts of the citizens of Laramie. Hours of Operation: 9:00am - 6:00pm daily.

Jacoby Golf Course is one of the unique public courses in the nation. It is located 7220 feet above sea level and measures 6855 yards to play. Home to the UW Men's and Women's golf teams Jacoby Golf Course is maintained by the University of Wyoming Physical Plant. Hours of Operation: Monday - Sunday 6:00am - dusk

At the foot of the Medicine Bow Mountains and near the Big Laramie River lies a little place with reputedly the best dance floor in southwestern Wyoming. The dance hall was built on top of 24 boxcar springs. The dance hall was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986
