1. How many rooms do I need to block in order to qualify for a group rate/discount?

   You must have a minimum of 10 rooms to qualify for a group rate. For group of nine or less, please call [800] 634.3444 to make a reservation at the specific hotel you are looking for.

2. If I would like a quote for a group block, who would I call/contact?

   If you have a minimum of 10 rooms, you can fill out the Group Travel Form for the specific location and a representative from AmericInn Group Sales will return your quote. Or you can call AmericInn Group Sales at [888] 814.7014. Some helpful information you will need to assist in this process:
   
   

   • Hotel location you are interested in staying at
   • The date(s) the group will be staying at the hotel
   • The type of group you have (motorcoach, sports team, corporate event, etc.)
   • Your contact information
3. How can the guests in my group block make their reservations to get the group rate?

   Your guests have a couple of options to make their reservations:

   • The main group contact will be given a specific rate code for the group. This can be shared with the other guests who wish to make their own reservation at AmericInn.com.
   • Your guests can call our toll-free reservation line, [800] 634.3444.
4. If I want to send a rooming list for my group block, what steps do I need to take?

   Any room list can be sent directly to AmericInn Group Sales at [888] 814.7014. Please note, a credit card number will be needed to hold the rooms with this method.
5. If I need to cancel reservations in my group block, how should I do this?

   Please call AmericInn Group Sales [888] 814.7014 to cancel any reservations.
6. What are my options for paying for the rooms?

   • The contact person for the group block can supply the hotel with a payment for the entire group block using a credit card. Or, the contact person can talk with the hotel manager to possibly set up a direct bill.
   • Guests can pay for their own rooms when they check-in.
7. Does AmericInn take tax-exempt groups?

   A group can use their tax-exempt status at an AmericInn hotel as long as they are tax-exempt in the state they will be staying in. The hotel approves the tax-exempt status of the group, and a copy of the tax-exempt certificate/letter will need to be sent to the hotel for approval. Also, the group should check with the hotel for the tax exempt requirements on any payment for a tax-exempt room.
