Carbondale is 12 miles from our Glenwood Springs hotel. It was named one of "The Top 10 Adventure Towns in the US" by National Geographic Magazine. The activities in Carbondale are numerous. One can enjoy biking, kayaking, and world class fly fishing. Mountain Fair takes places in July. This is a local festival that is mostly powered by solar energy collected in solar panels located in Sopris Park. In winter time one can enjoy cross country skiing at Spring Gulch and the Redstone Sled Dog Races in January.

Eagle, Colorado
