The AmericInn of Elk Horn hotel is located 6 miles North off Interstate 80 at Exit #54. If you are exiting from the East you will turn right on to Highway 173 and drive for 6 miles.  If you are exiting from the West you will turn left onto Highway 173 and drive 6 miles.  As you approach our town from the top of the hill you will see us on the right hand side of the road just before the Danish Windmill.  If you are traveling from Highway 44, head South on Highway 173 (from the East turn left; from the West turn right).  Keep heading South through Kimballton, on for 2 miles, and you will reach Elk Horn.  Drive to the end of town (0.50 miles) and you will see our hotel on the left side just past the Danish Windmill.
