Voyageurs is a water-based park where you must leave your car and take to the water to fully experience the lakes, islands, and shorelines of the park.

Boise Paper Solutions Mill Tours - See the second largest and fastest paper making machine in the world at the Boise Paper Solutions mill, located on Second Street. Touring America magazine lists this as one of the top 18 plant tours in the country. June through August, Monday through Friday, tours are regularly scheduled; other times by reservation. No children under 10 or cameras are allowed. No admission fee.

Koochiching County Historical Museum and Bronko Nagurski Museum - The Koochiching Historical Museum features 10,000 years of Borderland history. Exhibits document the northern Minnesota region including Native history and culture, European settlement and the utilization of the natural resources through the fur trade to modern forestry.

International Border & Bridge - The International Bridge is a popular crossing for tourists and local citizens. To visit Fort Frances, Ontario, you may drive your vehicle and pay a toll or leave your car in the U.S. and use the pedestrian walkway. Either way, you're required to check in with Canadian Customs. When you enter the town of Fort Frances, visit their travel information center, just a half-block past Canadian Customs.

Falls Country Club - Falls Country Club, located next to scenic Rainy River, offers an 18-hole championship golf course that is open to the public. The par-72 course, which measures 6,632 yards from the back tees, winds through the beautiful pines and aspen of Northern Minnesota and is laced with a series of streams and ponds that provide a challenge to players of all skill levels. PGA Professional, pro shop, restaurant, bar and practice range available for your enjoyment.

Rainy Lake Bike Trail - One of Northern Minnesota's most scenic bike trails begins in International Falls and ends near the Rainy Lake Visitor Center entrance to Voyageurs National Park.

Shopping - A vacation is rarely complete without taking time to shop. Voyageur Country is sprinkled with unique shops, antique shops and a mall. Concentrated shopping areas include: Main Street area, Highway 53, Highway 11 West, and in the historic village of Ranier (two miles east of International Falls).
