Area Travel - AmericInn® Roseau, MN
Welcome to Beautiful Minnesota! Read about our Roseau attractions and things to do nearby AmericInn.
Roseau is a century city, founded in 1895 by primarily Scandinavian immigrants. Roseau comes from the Indian word for Reed River, for the river the flows through town. Even though our history runs deep, we are a modern city with new infrastructure and a new city center/convention center. The home of Polaris, where snowmobiles were invented and continue to be produced, is also the home to agriculture where many small grains grow and are harvested. Roseau is a regional center. The county seat also resides here with all of its associated offices. We offer a top of the line school and one of the best hockey programs in the state. Roseau is a great place for families to come together for family reunions, class reunions, and especially the Roseau County Fair.
