Mid-August - Waconia hosts one of Minnesota's top county fairs, drawing about 75,000 people each year. The Carver County Fair boasts large livestock and open class exhibits; along with 4-H, FFA and educational displays. Grandstand events include tractor and truck pulls and a demolition derby.
