Kandiyohi County Historical Society and Museum & Sperry House - Featuring Pioneer and American Indian artifacts, a research library, country school and a Great Northern steam locomotive and much more. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Sperry House was built by the Albert and Jennie Sperry family and is partially restored. Contents of the house reflect and document family life in the 1890’s.

Glacial Ridge Trail- This Minnesota Scenic ByWay traverses 220 miles along a former Burlington Northern railroad grade of Minnesota’s most geologically significant areas formed by glaciers. It is generally level and is wheelchair accessible. Features a 12-mile paved trail between Willmar and New London for bicyclers, in line skaters, walkers and runners along with a second, grassy trail for horseback riding.

Sibley State Park - One of Minnesota’s top 20 attractions located on the shores of Lake Andrew, features over 2,900 acres of colorful prairies, hardwood forests, wetlands and cool clear lakes. Highlights include the Mount Tom overlook…the highest point in Kandiyohi County…over 300 nature programs, a modern interpretive trail center, bird watching and canoeing.

Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center - A beautiful 530 acre outdoor classroom offering hands-on experiences for schools and other groups exploring wetlands, woodlands, prairie and animal life. With six miles of trails, it also offers biking and birding as well as groomed trails for cross country skiing. A Challenge Course featuring a 40 foot climbing wall and other high events.
