We have hosted many group tours and functions in Kearney in the past, from traveling theater groups to wedding groups to Sandhills Crane tours.  We have a hospitality room as well as two large room suites that can be used as gathering places for you and your traveling companions.  Contact us about special rates and amenities for your next group outing!  We offer tour and group discounts as well as "welcome receptions."

• University of Nebraska - Kearney Graduation in May and December each year, brings family and friends to the area to help graduates celebrate.

• Cruise Night in July - Draws thousands of spectators to cruise or view the many antique autos that come from all over the World!

• Art in the Park on the 2nd Sunday in July - Hundreds of artists and thousands of art lovers converge on the city for the annual one day show and sale in historic Harmon Park.

• Annual Sandhill Crane Migration every spring - Thousands of visitors, of both the human and bird varieties, visit the Platte River Basin to see or be seen.  The Sandhill Cranes, one of the oldest known species of birds, has stopped in the area to rest and re-energize in the fertile feeding grounds along the Platte for thousands of years!  Prime viewing can be arranged at any of the several sanctuaries along the Platte or if you prefer, you can cruise the countryside along the river in the late afternoon hours to find a place that is just right for you!

• The Cattlemen's Classic is every February - cattlemen come to buy and sell cattle, learn the latest techniques in raising cattle and to meet and greet with friends - old and new - during the four day event held at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.

• The Tri-City Storm Hockey team of the USHL - From September through April, the Storm play home games at the First Tier Arena in Kearney.  Teams from the league and fans come to the city to play and watch the teams battle it out on the ice.

• Mr. Basketball and Miss Basketball - High school & youth tournaments have developed a national reputation for hosting the best organized events with strong competition, unbeatable facilities, excellent college exposure and outstanding community hospitality.  There are several tournaments throughout the spring and early summer.
