Old Abe - This paved 19.5 miles connects Lake Wissota State Park in Chippewa Falls and Brunet Island State Park in Cornell. The trail, an abandoned railroad grade has been developed into a trail for bicyclists, snowmobiles, hikers, horseback riders and in-line skaters. Begin your trail experience at either trail head on 97th Avenue (junction of Highway S & Highway O) or in Cornell at the Mill Yard Park (Highway 64/178 & Park Road.) Passes are required for all persons 16 years or older biking, in-line skating and horseback riding. Passes can be obtained at the Chippewa County Parks and Forest, Chippewa Area Visitor Center, Cornell Visitor Center and local merchants.

Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Reserve - One of the nine units of the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve, containing a segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The Visitor Center is open year-round. 8:30am - 4:30pm daily and features displays and films describing the area's unique glacial geology and its natural history. Naturalists answer questions and offer activities for children. There are over 9 miles of hiking trails in the reserve, including 4.5 miles of Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Located 7 miles east of New Auburn and 1.9 miles easty of Highway 40, on Co. Highway M.

The outdoor amphitheater is equipped with an outstanding sound system, giant screen, and 8,000 campsites within walking distance to the concert area. In the past, Country Fest has had performances by artists such as Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, the Dixie Chicks, Alan Jackson and many more.

Rock Fest - This four-day event, just north of Cadott, brings the best of country music to the Chippewa Valley! The outdoor amphitheater is equipped with an outstanding sound system, giant screen, and 8,000 campsites within walking distance to the concert area. Showers, security, medical services and convenience stores will be available for all campers. Inside the concert area, great food and souvenirs will be for sale. General admission and VIP seats are available. A VIP pass includes: up-front seating, great meals, beverages and parking.
