Olbrich Botanical Gardens - The gardens are made up of several separate garden areas: The Sunken Garden, The Thai Garden, A Rock Garden, A Meadow Garden, The Rose Garden and the Starkweather Creek and Atrium Shade Gardens; as well as the Bolz Conservatory, a greenhouse housing over 750 plants representing over 70 families and over 550 different species and cultivars.  The plants are native to tropical and sub-tropical regions.

Henry Vilas Zoo - The Henry Vilas Zoo receives over 500,000 visitors annually.  It still charges no admission or parking fees, and is one of only a few free zoos in the world that is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA.)  It is a moderately-sized public zoo in Madison.

Wisconsin State Capitol - The Wisconsin State Capitol, in Madison, Wisconsin, houses both chambers of the Wisconsin legislature along with the state Supreme Court and the Office of the Governor.  The current  building, completed in 1917, is the fifth building to serve as the Wisconsin Capitol since the first territorial legislature convened in 1836 and the third buildilng since Wisconsin was granted statehood in 1848.  The streets surrounding the building form the Capitol Square which is home to many restaurants and shops.  The square is a major hub for the Madison Metro bus service.

Wisconsin Dells - The city takes its name from the Dells of the Wisconsin River, a scenic glacially-formed gorge that features sandstone rock formations along the banks of the Wisconsin River.  Together with nearby Lake Delton, the city forms an area known as "the Dells," a popular Midwestern tourist destination, and a popular family destination.  The Dells area boasts an estimated 5 million annual visitors.  With 18 indoor water parks and 3 outdoor water parks in the Dells area, Wisconsin Dells proclaims itself as the "Water Park Capital of the World."  It is home to the largest outdoor water park in the US, Noah's Ark.  It has over 70 acres of water slides.  Some of the other attractions in the Dells include Dells Boat Tours, Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park, many golf courses, mini-golf, go-karts, water sports, horseback riding, Tommy Bartlett's Thrill Show and Exploratory, the Ho-Chunk Casino and many other places of interest.

Cave of the  Mounds - The most beautiful cave in Wisconsin and the upper Midwest, Cave of the Mounds lies just off US Highway 18/151 in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin.  The United States Department of the Interior  and the National Park Service designated Cave of th Mounds a National Natural Landmark because the sites possesses "exceptional value as an illustration of the nation's heritage and contributes to a better understanding of man's environment."  Curious tourists and budding cave enthusiasts have been enjoying an introduction to caving in the Midwest for years while visiting Cave of the Mounds.

Little Norway - Nestled in a beautiful valley twenty miles west of Madison, hidden in the foothills of Blue Mounds, Wisconsin is a charming and unique outdoor museum known as Little Norway. It has another, more romantic name which suggests more vividly the sense of magic that pervades this lovely valley: Nissedahle, or Valley of the Elves.

Zor Shrine – The Shrine of North America is a fraternity that grew out of Freemasonry over a century ago. Because of this, the Shrine is dedicated to Masonic principles. Overture Center – The 2,251-seat performance hall is designed and constructed for exceptional acoustics and an intimate theater experience. Materials and shapes in Overture Hall were purposely manipulated to influence how sound reverberates and reflects inside the space, and control and isolate noise.
