Wisconsin State Capitol - The Wisconsin State Capitol, in Madison, Wisconsin, houses both chambers of the Wisconsin legislature along with the state Supreme Court and the Office of the Governor. The current building, completed in 1917, is the fifth building to serve as the Wisconsin Capitol since the first territorial legislature convened in 1836 and the third buildilng since Wisconsin was granted statehood in 1848. Wisconsin Dells - The city takes its name from the Dells of the Wisconsin River, a scenic glacially-formed gorge that features sandstone rock formations along the banks of the Wisconsin River.
