We are only 2 minutes away from Manitowoc Ice Center and and Expo Center, and minutes from area high schools. We have the area's nicest indoor pool with whirlpool, our complimentary AmericInn Perk breakfast with waffles, and the most comfortable lobby to gather in, the AmericInn of Manitowoc hotel can't be beat. We currently serve several area groups from makeup parties to pool parties. Our hospitality room is available, which can accommodate up to 25 people comfortably; this room features a microwave, mini-refrigerator, wireless/wired high-speed Internet, and TV with VCR/DVD player. Groups of all kinds find a wonderful use for our hospitality room, even if it is just to play cards and talk!

Kites Over Lake Michigan, Neshotah Beach, Two Rivers - A kite festival that's fun for the entire family featuring huge show kites flying over the lake and banners along the beach, demonstrations of single, dual and quad line kites, kite-making and special races for the kids, and an indoor kite display at the J.E. Hamilton Community House.

Annual Midwestern Model Ships and Boats Contest, Wisconsin Maritime Museum - Join maritime modelers from throughout the nation for fellowship, idea sharing, and a look at some of the most exquisite models anywhere! Whether you are a junior, novice, intermediate, or advanced model builder, you will enjoy this event. Visitors to the museum will have the benefit of viewing event models in addition to those in the Museum's galleries. R/C modelers will be running their models in the pond outdoors, too.

Oktoberfest/Volkswalk, Downtown Manitowoc - Join this fun, outdoor, family-friendly 6-mile walk/jog/run event through historic downtown Manitowoc and along the scenic lakeshore. After the walk, everyone can enjoy sidewalk sales, in-store craft projects, Art in the Park and many areas of entertainment throughout the downtown area, complete with authentic German food and drink.
