Mielke Park and Cultural Arts Center - Mielke Park is home of the "Theatre in the Woods" and four nature trails for the study of wildlife and plants. A lovely wildflower garden blossoms during the spring and summer. A large parking area, restrooms, and beautiful surroundings are yours to visit. Relax and enjoy picnic lunches while looking over wildflowers and Mielke Pond, which is stocked with panfish. Many events are held at this park during the summer, a number of these an annual tradition. Plays are presented throughout the year and concerts are held on the grounds at various times. Shawano Area Ski Sharks - The Ski Sharks perform every Wednesday night from mid-June through mid-August at the Wolf River Beach behind the Shawano Medical Center. Many courageous stunts are performed, from helicopters to double crisscrosses under other jumpers on the ski-jumping team. The swivel skiers are the graceful acrobats you see turning and swerving along the river. And the pyramid, one of the most photographed and precise acts you will see on the water, is one of the Shawano Ski Shark’s specialties.
Shawano County Fair - Late August. The Shawano County Fair will entertain, educate and excite you with nightly entertainment in the grandstand, 4-H exhibits and food. Also you will see midway thrills, a tractor pull, demolition derby, pig wrestling, free grandstand entertainment, Polka bands, craft exhibits, stock car races and 4-H exhibits.

Midwest Amusement Park - If you're coming to Wisconsin for a family vacation on a budget, need a place to host a birthday party or other celebration, or just looking for a weekend getaway, Midwest Amusement Park has it all. Marion A-MAZE-Ment Park - The Amazement park features Wisconsin's most challenging maze with over 2 miles to explore! They change their pattern every first and third Thursday. USA International Raceway - USA International Raceway is a paved WKA road course for karts located just east of Shawano. The raceway was designed by Kenny Venberg, who is vice president of the World Karting Association (WKA). To say that what was created is a masterpiece is an understatement. The raceway is a tremendous challenge: from the high-banked corners, to the big sweeper, to the slightly off-camber turns, to the 1,000 straight-a-way down two deep ravines, this track will leave the driver breathless. Here’s what racers have to say about this phenomenal track. After the completion of the raceway, Kenny Venberg was quoted as saying: "There is not another track like this in the whole country - it's unparalleled.“ "It's a world class supermoto track," said AMA Supermoto Series contender Ben Carlson of USA International Raceway. It’s a mile long 24-turn track. Team owner and supermoto racer Mitch Hansen. "Everyone told me how great the track and facilities were, but it went beyond my expectations. There are elevation changes and in some areas spectators should be able to see nearly the entire track. We're lucky to have a track like this as part of the series. As visitors check out not only the races but also the Arrive and Drive Program. They will suit you up, give you a kart to drive and you will experience the ultimate thrill!
