The City of Shell lake is located around the beautiful 2,580 acre Shell Lake. The lake offers some of the best fishing in Northwest Wisconsin, with walleye, large and small mouthed bass, northern pike, musky and lots of pan fish! A great lake to spend the day, whether in a boat or on the beach. Americinn is just a half of a mile from this great day of fun!

Throughout the summer enjoy live entertainment, flea markets, museums, art fairs, parades and of course the beautiful Fourth of July fireworks! In addition, The Arts and Education Center offers various concerts throughout the season, attracting some great musicians to our wonderful town. AmericInn employees and guests have had the pleasure of meeting many of them!

Come join us in the winter for long days of snowmobiling, ice fishing contests, sledding, cross country skiing, ice skating and more. We are just across the highway from the snowmobiling trail, and just down the road from the lake.
