This hotel was very clean, super nice sheets and towels. Pool was large, clean and well maintained. Breakfast area was very clean and had a large selection of items. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Price was exceptionally reasonable.

Day 1- the bed cover had fresh blood on it. There is no way the person who made this bed could NOT have seen this. It was in plain sight. Yuck! There was no shower curtain. I had to go to the front desk for both. Day 2-Housekeeping was leaving a note on our door as we came back from breakfast. I told her we would be gone in a couple of minutes, but she left and did not return. We emptied our own trash, and got our supplies from the front desk that night when we returned. Day 3-Our room was serviced, but the duvet cover was ragged and contained no comforter. Day 4-Our room was not serviced. Again, we had to empty our trash and retrieve our supplies from the front desk.
I truly do apologize for all the inconveniences that you endured during your stay. I can not apologize to you enough. The staff will also be made aware of your comments and will be very involved in the corrective action taken to prevent future issues; this is certainly a training opportunity for our guest services & housekeeping team.

Although nothing fancy, this motel was very clean and has been recently updated. The rooms are very clean and breakfast was adequate. No complaints. The staff was able to answer any questions we had. Location is super with quick access to Interstate 35/80.

This was the worst internet I have had in the last ten years. Could not download e-mail and finally gave up. Free hot breakfast consisted of sausage gravy and biscuits or a waffle unless you consider toast a hot breakfast. There was no elevator to the second floor. There was a stale smokey smell in common areas. I will say that the bed was very comfortable. Not too soft as in some hotels.
I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. I took immediate action to address the situation. Staff was not made aware of the problems with their WI-FI in the guest room until after guest checked out. Upon notification of the problem, the front desk would have gladly moved guest to another room during their night stay. We do ask that if the guest has a problem during their stay, that they contact the front desk so they can attempt to remedy issue.

My situations was truly unique. I reserved a room for 3 days, ended staying 6 weeks and my daughter staying a total of 2 mos. The reason this occurred was because my daughter fell the 2nd day we were there, broke her ankle, and the next week having surgery with plates, screws and pins. My daughter's house and bathroom were completely inaccessible to wheelchairs, knee walkers, etc. so could not possibly accommodate her needs. The personnel at Americinn took care of us, I believe, like no other hotel could have! Kudos to the staff! Karen worked out a long term solution for us, the night staff encouraged me when I needed to toast muffins in the middle of the night so my daughter could take her pain medications and Linda and Beverly were wonderful Breakfast Hostesses, helping me whenever I needed it. Kristi personally moved us (including ALL our stuff) from the original King Room to a much more appropriate Accessible Room and even helped my daughter clean out her fridge before she left! Carlos quickly fixed anything that needed repairs the whole time we were there. Thank You Again for being "family" to us while we were going through this very difficult time! Thanks You Sarah, Brian, Brooklyn, Dora, Shelby, Zach and the rest of the night, cleaning and hospitality staff for attending to our needs so completely! Yes, I plan to return to see all of you when I'm back in the State of Iowa! I waited till my daughter moved back with her family (last weekend) before reviewing Americinn Hotel & Suites Johnston in Trip Advisor. I am so thankful that I originally had my reservation with your facility and staff because you made our stay pleasurable in the midst of our trial. :-) PS: I loved having the refrigerator and microwave. I don't know how we would have survived without those! Having the pool was a nice bonus!
