Stayed at this hotel convenient locacation for our meeting. The suite we had was roomy and the beds comfortable. One bed had a long black hair on the sheets I left a note for housekeeping, the picture frames had dust on them, the inside of the bathroom door was scribbled on with a pencil, a ceiling tile in the shower was dirty. We stayed in this room from sunday thru thursday and none of these items were ever seen by housekeeping except the note about the black hair and I left that note. The breakfast was good. The dining area was a mess tables were not clean after people left newspaper and food left on tables I had to clean the table we sat at. The coffee station was refilled but their is a syrup build up underneath the bottles of syrup and its been there for months disgusting. On a Tuesday night we could smell cigarette smoke in a friends room on the second floor and this is a non smoking Hotel I walked the hallway but did not find where the cigarette smoke was coming from I went to the front desk and nobody was there. The shuttle service picked us up at the airport the driver was the front desk manager she was very friendly.
Another day Alberto took us to the Mall of America, he old us just call the shuttle a half hour prior to pickup which we did. It was raining and we waited forty five minutes for the shuttle before we called again and we were told the front desk did not communicate the message to a driver, so we waited another half hour inside and fifeteen minutes outside under cover from the rain, did not want to miss the van if it showed up which it did and the front desk manager was sitting in the passenger seat training a new driver. We asked the driver to drop us off at B-52 restaurant which they did we asked if we can be picked up and was told just call before 9pm, we called at 7:30 for a ride back, the font desk disconnected us twice so we walked back in the rain. When we got ten miutes later i went to the front desk and Ba said the van was out picking up people, I said there is another van but sha said there is not another driver. My question is where is the front desk manager, response is she is in the van. Who is making decisions at the front desk, why is their not another driver for the other van? It is not my job as a paying customer to train your staff on how to clean rooms and commen areas and take care of your property. I have worked in Hotels and restaurants for forty years.

$273 mattress charge added to my credit card without notification from hotel after two night stay - March 2016. Talked to General Manager and Assistant Manager - asked what a mattress charge was and both said they would research and get back to me. Neither one ever called ...
$273 mattress charge added to my credit card without notification from hotel after two night stay - March 2016. Talked to General Manager and Assistant Manager - asked what a mattress charge was and both said they would research and get back to me. Neither one ever called or emailed me back. Talked to AmericInn Guest Relations Team - was told that mattress was saturated and had to be replaced. My eight year old goddaughter wet the bed during our stay. During numerous previous stays at this hotel have seen many families with young children. Wonder if other families have been charged for a bed wetting accident. What an unethical and evasive way to run a hotel.

We showed up having made a reservation online but the reservation didn't go through all the way, the manager came out front and gave us an upgraded room at a discounted rate to help us out with the inconvenience.

always love AmericInn and was looking for something close to Excel Energy Center that had a shuttle. The driver dropped us off and picked us up so we didn't have to drive and park in an area we aren't familiar to us.
