We stayed here due to it's location, central for family members. The hotel was very clean and looked to be recently renovated. It is more expensive than others in the same area, but worth the spend. The rooms we stayed in all had new flat screen tv, fridge and microwave.

Visiting family on emergent basis without husband on Thanksgiving weekend. AmericInn at North Branch was recommended by my niece. Right off the highway, convenient to restaurants, gas, and much more. Well lighted and cleared parking lot. Had a rental car issue and needed to have a new rental towed to AmericInn; had keys left at front desk. Jack was supportive and helpful through the whole process. Extremely CLEAN hotel, and I felt very safe. Highly recommended!!

I am a registered nurse working overnights and have 1.5 hour commute to work round trip. Minnesota first great snowfall of 2014 happened during my commute and it was not safe to drive home and then back to work the same day. I had booked a room at rival hotel, only to find later that my reservation was lost and there were no other rooms available. Frantically, I tried to find another hotel that not only had rooms but was available for 9 am check in. The employees at AmericInn worked with me and found a room available. The kindness and hospitality of the staff was very welcoming. The room was amazing and I slept like a baby. Thank you again, AmericInn.

This is our second stay,got the most expensive suite this time.Checked in to rude staff.some alarm in room beeping constantly as the battery was dead. there is absolutely no Kleenex anywhere in the 2 room suite, the front room of suite with supposed sleeper couch had 1 measesly pillow, no blanket, is extremely cold and without heat! The usual toiletries are pretty much non existent, I have 2 lamps that were unplugged and lack lightbulbs. I asked staff to change the battery for smoke detector, find us a couple of boxes of Kleenex as we had been working in the cold all day, and get lightbulbs while we were our to dinner. After the staff providing lengthy argument on how there has to be Kleenex in the room! We came back to find a single box of Kleenex on the sink,all of our personal belongings had been moved, no light bulbs provided, but they did manage to change the battery for smoke detector. Only to find the carbon monoxide sensor beeping, malfunctioning. The jacuzzi in our suite doesn't stop draining water, if you use the fireplace the carbon monoxide sensor beeps constantly,even with the windows open, maybe it is working and the fireplace not safe. There is no info anywhere in the room to say when pool closes, when breakfast is,etc. Also no instructions for jacuzzi or fireplace.tried to then go swimming in the he cold indoor pool, second time that has happened. Attempted to play games in arcade which simply ate money, tried the pool table which is unbalanced and also not working Or functioning properly, tried to use change machine which also is not working. I stood at the desk for 15 min waiting for the clerk to get off the phone and assist me.I had to request a blanket and when someone arrived at the abandoned desk I got a crunchy pilled disgusting blanket that I would not have my dog sleep on. Please keep in mind that we stay in this type of room all over the US and never have had such problems. Now its 1AM and I am unable to stay in my room as the fire dept is here, the CO2 monitor is going off and both my son and I don't feel well. The staff was rediculous, no where to stay, no refund until 7-10 days making us unable of checking in anywhere else that night, have to wait and call the "manager" monday! They couldn't even call another location to see if we could stay there! Instead I am forced to drive all the way to the cities, on no sleep, feeling Ill from
cabon monoxide at 3AM.what a joke!

First, let me apologize for the frustration that you experienced. It is certainly not acceptable for any of our guests to leave an AmericInn® location with the feelings and perceptions that you shared on your online survey.
Thank you for taking the time to notify me of the details of your experience, we value your opinion and your business with AmericInn®. Your comments will help us to do a better job of servicing our guests in the future.
After discussing your feedback with my staff and reviewing your online surveys, I was able to do some further research. Based on your call to the front desk stating that they carbon monoxide detector in your room was in alarm, my staff person contacted the local fire department to respond. I spoke with the first fireman on the scene and he stated that the carbon monoxide detector was not activated. The local police department also responded and did not find the detector activated and/or in audible alarm.
The detector was beeping every minute to indicate that the backup battery needed to be changed.
In order to ensure your health and safety, the local ambulance was contacted and arrived to also test you and your son for any possible carbon monoxide exposure. Based on the information I received from the ambulance report, the EMT's were not able to find any symptoms and didn't feel it was necessary to have you treated at the hospital.
As the emergency personnel waited for the gas company technician to arrive, my staff did offer you another room, but you did refuse. The new room would have been a suite with different amenities and there would have been no charge for additional room.
Unfortunately, you had left the property before the gas company arrived to verify if there was a gas leak in the room. The technician checked the room as well as tested for carbon monoxide and was not able to find any leaks in the room. Based on his tests, we would have been able to keep you in the same room without any danger.
Due to the inconvenience, we did not charge your for the stay. The 7-10 day period that my staff mentioned to you is how long it may take for the authorization on your debit card to be removed. Each bank has their own policy on how long they will hold on to the original authorization that was done during your check-in. As we discussed over the phone, I was able to contact your bank on Monday and have the authorization removed.
I have also sent you additional AmericInn Gift Certificates to be used at any property in the franchise as well as a gas card to reimburse you for your travel.
Again, I apologize. My staff and I take great pride in offering all of our guests the best possible service.
