Wonderfully clean rooms. As someone with asthma, rooms that were smoked in and 'cleaned' (usually by spraying cover-up scents) often aggravate my breathing. My room and no scent. None from cleaners, smoking or anything else, Just a fresh, clean non-scent. Wonderful!!
My bed was clean, appropriately made for the weather, and comfortable. Not too firm or too soft. Just comfortable. There were four pillows, all comfortable.
Bathroom and sink area were well stocked except for (nitpick #1) there were no facial tissues. I had a cold and was forced to use toilet paper, but at least it wasn't sandpaper. A box of Kleenex wouldn't have come amiss.
Bathroom was very clean. All except for the (nitpick #2) ceiling vent, which desperately needs cleaning. It was totally dusty/dirty, but that's often overlooked, and the rest of the room was absolutley clean! That said, it did draw air, and worked way quieter than mine at home does.
The desk was not large nor small, it did its job. Was simply appointed. The chair was maybe a little wobbly, but that could be my aesthetic too. The covers on the arms of the chair slipped a bit as I got up and sat down, but they were there and in good repair as far as I could see. The slippage is a design flaw.
(Nitpick#3) the light over th desk was a dim 40-ish watt bulb. The desk should be well-lit. In fact, except over the vanity, all the room bulbs were the same 40-ish watt bulbs. It would have been nicer if some of the lightens could actually brighten the room after the sun went down. With the lights on, it's by no means dark in the room; I just like my spaces better lit.
My room had a king bed, tv w/ remote, microwave, fridge, (each of which was truly clean), a safe (which I did not use) a suitcase stand, ironing board, iron, hangers, hair dryer and separate lounge chair with ottoman. There was more than enough floor space to accommodate the furniture. Room has an in-wall heater/air conditioner, but I did not use it.
BONUS!! The room had a window that opened way up to let in the awesome fall breezes. Curtains closed all the way and as my meeting were in the evening, that helped me sleep in a little in the mornings.
Room appointments were in neutral colors and not annoying.
Staff was friendly, accommodating and courteous almost to a fault. The young man cleaning rooms or whatever even spontaneously called me "Ma'am"! I thought that was a lost courtesy except in the Bible Belt!
Located far from the colleges, so there were no parties or other on
Bnoxious stiff going on.
Parking was aplenty, even with a couple 18-wheelers in the lot.
Continental breakfast, standard fare: powdered eggs and sausage, over sweet yogurt, bagels/toast with condiments for them. 4 juices. Milk. Coffee. Waffles. Some cereal.
Pool and whirlpool in a large space, but I did not go in so I can't say about them.
This room was comped by my company for the class they sent me to. I'm not sure I'd pay the $113 per night they did, but I'm cheap.
I have no overriding complaints. It was a good place to stay. My only complaints are small nitpicking stuff that is really irrelevant to most people. When compared to all the motels I've stayed in, this is one of the cleanest and best kept properties I've been on.
Stay here with confidence.

We stayed at the AmericInn with three children in a jacuzzi suite. We chose the hotel because availability in the area was limited due to a big event in the twin cities. My first impression was not great - the lobby smells like stale cigarette smoke and everything looks really dated. But, once we got to our room we felt better. Our suite was spacious, beds comfortable and jacuzzi tub clean and functional. We used the pool and kids had fun. It's small but clean. The breakfast was ok - we always enjoy the waffles at AmericInn hotels. They also had sausage, egg omelets and some small (kinda dry) muffins. Coffee was good.
Overall this hotel is just ok, if we end up back in the area I probably would not book it again.
This is an older hotel, but the rooms are nice and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.
The continental breakfast was decent, scrambled eggs and sausage, and I am a sucker for the do it yourself waffles.
My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi didn't work very well.
Rooms are clean and sleepable. Plently of free parking. Decent morning food (same as everywhere). Quiet place with no gangbangers, drunks or bums hanging around. Cons are no refridgerator and small bathroom.

We stayed here so we could go to a football match in Blaine between Minnesota United and AFC Bournemouth. It was my fiancé and her 3 teenage daughters, so we got 2 rooms. The kids had a blast with their own room and a nice indoor pool. The front desk staff was beyond friendly, joking and sharing stories with us that made the check in process quick and easy.
My fiancé and I got a king suite so we could celebrate our recent engagement. First, it had a jacuzzi tub, which was nice. In addition, the room was a few rooms away from the girls which was also a bit nice, but we won't tell them that. This hotel had fantastic wifi, so the kids watched Netflix all night and were able to entertain themselves and leave us alone for the most part.
I was very happy with this hotel, though their headboard seemed to have gotten broken. Not sure how much of that was their fault though. A great stay.
