When it comes to reviews, I find that people are normally harsh over their personal experience that usually is not necessarily indicative of the standard hotel experience. Long story short a 4 star on TripAdvisor or 4.2 out of five on hotels.com I view as a perfect score and should not hesitate to book at. So we did...
I got nervous when we entered as it appeared run down. We checked in and went to the room. It was more like a 1.5 to 2 star quality feel. Run down furniture, stained floor. We did not stay there and walked out and went to the hotel next door.
I have never done that before. I don't know how they got such good rating. Maybe it is the breakfast or something that happens to those that stay. I will never know. The bedding was clean so I am not trying to make it out as a dirty hotel it is just more run down than a 2.5 star hotel should be and I am flabbergasted at the great review. My recommendation for you is to definately weigh your options. There are like 20 other hotels on the same street. We went to the wyngate next door that was $15 more.
Hotel very dated. What you see in real life is not what you see online. Lumpy comforter and horribly stained carpets. Pool was closed. Turned around and stayed elsewhere. Only plus about it was the location. Wish I'd been there long enough to take pictures.
I apologize that you did not have the greatest experience with us.
The pool was closed due to it being an outdoor seasonal pool that is open from the end of May to September. As for the lumpy comforter and the stained carpet I sincerely apologize for this and the room should have never been passed to rent out to a guest. I have done an extensive inspection of the property the past couple of days and I did find a room that had some significant stains and have had the room completely shampooed and cleaned up.

I was on a business trip and last minute needed three short documents printed out. When the printer in the lobby had a problem Lisa at the front desk was quick to respond. She printed them on her office printer immediately after I emailed them to her. Thank you Lisa!!

we enjoyed our stay! the beds were very soft, located by lots of restaurants. there is construction around the area but besides that overall stay was very pleasing and we will be returning for the rest of our visits in okc!

I think I say this for myself and every other business around us; we are ready for the construction to move out of here and get us back to normal road conditions again!! The hotel was what I expected, and everything was well taken care of and efficient. There were no problems and I would stay here again. I would recommend this facility for any type of overnight facility.
