When I stay in Aberdeen, I always try to stay at this hotel. The service is good and staff is friendly but what i like most is the cleanliness of the facility. They have a very good breakfast selection and the pool area is the best in town and well maintained.

Came here for work, but wifi was horribly slow and I was unable to load most of the material I needed. When work was finished, I went for a dip in the pool to shoot some basketballs as there is a basketball hoop in the pool. The hotel's policy is to remove the basketballs from the pool area at 11:00pm, but the staff was adamant, uncooperative, and unfriendly about removing the balls from the pool much earlier than 11:00pm - sometimes 30 minutes early. I would simply ask that I use the basketball hoop until 11pm, but was ignored by the women from the front desk as they took the basketballs. I've never been treated in such a way by front desk staff over something as trivial as a basketball. I would never stay at this hotel again based on the condescending nature of the front desk staff and the power trips they found necessary to partake in.
Thank you for your review. We do apologize for your less than pleasant experience. When we are informed of our wi-fi acting up, our staff knows who to call but sometimes, unfortunately, it's not a quick fix. However, instructions on handling this can and will be reviewed to be sure the problem is always being tended to. Our policy on basketballs coming out at 11p.m. comes down to noise and previous complaints due to the echo resounding in rooms directly off to the side of the pool area on the 2nd floor. If they are being taken out prior to 11p.m., that is definitely something to be addressed as we want our guests to enjoy such amenities to the fullest. Thank you for bringing this to management's attention. Again, we apologize and hope that you will return to our facility in the future so that we can provide you with the comforts we want all of our guests to have.
The staff couldn't have been nicer. The front desk, the bartender & housekeeping. Rooms were exceptionally clean. The breakfast had so many options and was very good. The Breakfast gal made sure everything was filled at all times.

We are Americinn Rewards customers and search out this chain wherever we go because we have always been pleased with the facilities that we have encountered, The Aberdeen location was ok, but was at the bottom of any that we have stayed at to date. One of the main concerns that we had is that we received an email confirmation that we had been upgraded to a suite, which was wonderful because we were traveling with our 6 year old granddaughter on our vacation with her. On arrival, we were told that we were downgraded back to our original booking. That alone wasn't so bad, but the room was damp and musty smelling. I'm not going back there again.
