We booked the hotel travelling through the area and to attend a wedding. We found out three wedding parties were also booked for that weekend at the same hotel which was fine but our room was musty and damp with the carpeting by the bed closest to the wall, wet. We did everything we could to dry out our room but nothing worked. The pool area and breakfast area were spotless and well maintained but our room was not even though the cleaning staff gave us everything we needed. Since the hotel was booked to capacity, we could not exchange our room for another. The mustiness was stifling. Also, we were charged $342 for just a two night stay which was ridiculous as our room desperately needed updating and the bathroom had no fan in it so there was mold in the bathroom including on the shower curtain. If I ever visit this area again, I will stay in Menomonie or in Hudson or even travel closer to the Twin cities for a better deal and cleaner hotel.
Also, we could not get Wi-Fi even though they said they had free wifi.
AmeriInn did offer us 15% off our next stay but that only covers the taxes and hotel fees and is still $300. Not worth it. the best part of the stay was the excellent continental breakfast.
Nice hotel in the small town of Baldwin. Our family stayed at this hotel for a wedding in the area. The continental breakfast was good. The rooms were nice. I recommend staying at this hotel when in the Baldwin area.

The staff at this hotel went "above and beyond" in helping us. We travel through this area at least six times a year. After staying at a hotel in the Eau Claire area (not Americinn) that wasn't too accessible or helpful, I contacted the Baldwin Americinn for information about its accessibility. Julie told me that there were first floor accessible rooms, and if I would call ahead someone would help us with the non-accessible entry doors.
Our room was the one of the most accessible and clean rooms we have stayed in while the pool and L-shaped spa were perfect for water therapy exercises. After checking us out, Randy walked to the doors and helped us out. We didn't even have to ask for his help.
After learning that the current entry doors will be replaced with accessible ones in 2016, this Americinn is definitely on our list of places to stay in the future. Thank you to Julie, Randy, and Kitty. We appreciated your efforts to make our stay enjoyable.
We arrived expecting a standard type of room but were very surprised by how large the room was. The room included wet bar area with microwave and refrigerator. It also had a fireplace and sofa in the sitting space. Large windows too.
My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, the hotel was kept up nicely, and our room was clean and updated. If you are in the Baldwin, WI area, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
