Myself, husband, daughter and granddaughter went to visit my son and grandson. We choose this hotel not only because if it's location but because of the reviews and breakfast menu. Check-in was very nice. The gal at the front desk was nice, personable, and informative.....so...
Myself, husband, daughter and granddaughter went to visit my son and grandson. We choose this hotel not only because if it's location but because of the reviews and breakfast menu. Check-in was very nice. The gal at the front desk was nice, personable, and informative.....so I thought....she did not tell us we could not drink the water....are you serious??!!!! It was a long ride and so we all slammed a bunch of water and made the babies bottles!!!! After a couple hrs did we find out about the water by a sign on the bathroom door in the lobby!! Needless to say we spent the nite worried about the babies. The breakfast was missing half of the items on the menu and last but not least there was a sign to buy ice across the street if u wanted any. It was just a worrisome and bad stay.
First of all I would like to thank you for bringing the problems you experienced during your stay to my attention. We will be taking a look at the Sofa Sleeper in the room you stayed in. Also, I sincerely apologize for the miscommunication that caused what seems to be a large inconvenience for you and your family. We try our best to inform our guests of the hotel amenities. The hotel runs off of well water and is tested annually, therefore, we have signs explaining that our tap water may be unsafe for infants and those with weak immune systems due to high nitrates. It would take much more than one bottle full to cause Blue Baby Syndrome in your child. We do provide filtered water stations throughout the hotel. Our ice, juice, and coffee are all made with filtered water. Guests are welcome to complementary bottled water at the front desk as well. Again, I do apologize for this inconvenience.
As far as the sign on the ice machine: "Hotel Guests: This is the hotel's only ice machine. To ensure we don't run out of ice, please do not use it to fill coolers. you can buy bags of ice across the street at the Holiday Station for coolers. Thank you for your understanding. -Hotel Management." We try to limit the quantity that groups of people use to fill coolers so that every guest may use some for their own needs. The note is not meant to keep you from using the ice machine in general; it is meant to remind people to be considerate of how full the hotel may be and how many others may need ice as well.

We were in the Eau Claire/Menomonie area to find an apartment for my daughter who is starting a new job there. She just graduated college in Iowa and we are not very familiar with that area. We met Sunday night with plans to hunt Monday.

Pleasantly surprised by the descent rates for all the good stuff you get here; nice staff, clean & nicely appointed rooms, late pool hours and a great hot tub! And the self-serve coin-op washer/dryer saved me trip to a laundromat! Nice & quiet, too.

We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament. Everything went smoothly from start to finish because the staff was friendly and kind. There were a few problems but the staff made it all better. First, their card reader was working intermittently, we got only one room ...
We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament. Everything went smoothly from start to finish because the staff was friendly and kind. There were a few problems but the staff made it all better. First, their card reader was working intermittently, we got only one room key each. When the card reader did work the front desk made sure that additional keys were made for those of us that needed them. Second, the fire alarm went of on a Saturday afternoon. The staff got everyone out and checked all rooms and the entire place, everyone was helpful! Fire department gave us the all clear. Lastly and hugely, the housekeeping staff and the front desk washed a large load of smelly, dirty baseball uniforms between games. The team was shiny clean and fresh for the second game of the day! had a busload of college baseball players staying there and front guest area clogged up with students on the internet wifi- the pool area was nice along with the hot tub, paid a little more to stay here but it was close to where we were going
