Stayed for 3 nights on way back to Chicago airport really nice and friendly hotel a very warm welcome. Excellent location with the bonus of free admission to Chula Vista Waterpark which I wasn't aware of. Absolutely loved our stay here and the area.
I brought 13 ladies, dressed in red hats, to Wisconsin Dells for the night. The AmericInn was the perfect place to stay! Especially with the hospitality of Melissa and Loretta, they felt like royalty!
The exterior is adorable. It looks like a huge log cabin. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The breakfast was decent. The location was nice because it is off the beat and path so there is not as much traffic. I would stay here again.

Our family of 4 and our extended family stayed at the AmericInn based on reviews from my grandparents and aunt. They get a room there every year for a week during Wo-Zha-Wa. Upon entering, the hotel is warm and cozy with a country look. The room we stayed also was spacious, clean and had beautiful decor. We also faced the wooded area to the back of the hotel, which was a nice view. (We did not have a balcony, but many rooms do offer that.) The pool area is perfect for my 4 and 2 year old as it features a regular rectangular swimming pool and a separate zero depth area with water structures and a water slide. When we first got to the hotel around 4:00, there was a large private party there and the pool was quite busy. We decided to go to dinner first and then the pool to see if it was less crowded. After dinner, it looked like the party had left, so we went down to the pool. Upon entering the zero depth area, my aunt and I found two beer bottle tops (with the sharp, ridgy edges) laying in the pool. Thankfully the kids didn't step on them. So clearly there was alcohol/glass bottles allowed in the pool area. We also found what looked like blood on the deck. This was kind of a disappointment.
We checked out the next day, but before we enjoyed the great breakfast that was provided. We really enjoyed our stay for the most part, but be aware that they do allow private parties.
Everyone was nice and helpful. Hotel it's self needs to be updated. Walls are all dinged up and missing paint... a lot of lights missing shades. Pretty small entrance and elevator to get luggage through.
