Our stay was the worst experience ever!! The hotel had an overwelming smell of drugs, people smoking in the halls, drunk people in the pool area not watching their kids, police called several times during our stay and very very rude staff! We had some issues and they were never resolved or addressed by mangement. Wouldnt recommend staying with familys

I visited this hotel over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The condition of the room was great. Everything seemed really new. I was really surprised at how large the Jacuzzi suite was which I rented. Bed was really comfortable. We slept soundly. Also the price was great, at least $30 less than the other hotels in town. I did initially have an issue connecting to the internet. When I informed the desk staff they were very helpful in offering support. Once we worked out the setting issue I had, I was good to go the rest of the weekend with a with great connection and speed. Thank you! Things just kept getting better. The breakfast was by far one of the best served by a hotels similar to this where I have stayed in the past (H Expresses, Fairfield Inns, Comfort, etc..). They offered great selection of items. The eggs were fresh. Great tasting sausage. Great coffee!. I actually ate more than I should have. The hotel was extremely busy and I thought the staff did a great job, especially the lady serving breakfast. She was hustling to keep up and seemed to be very cheerful. Everyone seemed to be getting their fill. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again!

We waited 45 minutes in line to check in, called down for a wake-up call (the call never happened). There was only one person on the counter, the other called off and no one stepped up to assist the remaining employee. The staff member did a fabulous job handling everyone especially as we grew up set for waiting. I commend her!! It was high school regional bowling tournaments and you were WAY understaffed. Staff member in charge of the breakfast area was irritable and rude to guests.
Guest comments are the best way to help is improve our hotel. Thank you! I did review the weekend's events to determine what happened when you checked in. We did have a staff shortage caused be an unexpected illness and very short notice. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to find an additional resource to assist the staff on hand that evening. Fortunately the staff member on duty is just awesome and did an excellent job checking in a "full house" that evening. I do apologize that your patience was tested during this process but appreciate your recognition of our staff member. I have no excuse for you regarding the missed wake-up call, We made a mistake. We do have processes in place to help us avoid such an instance which we will be reviewing with the entire desk staff. We do sincerely appreciate your business and hope the tournament went well for your team.

My husband and I decided to go to Bay City for the night as a little getaway. We chose to book a jacuzzi suite at the Americinn for just under $120 for the night. We found the hotel to be very very clean and recently remodeled. Unfortunately we cannot say good things about our stay there. The people in the room next door were extremely loud slamming the door all hours of the night, yelling, pounding on things, obnoxious laughing, even running what we thought sounded like a blender full of ice multiple times in the late of night and early morning hours. We heard loud swearing in the hallway, running, etc. I had enough just after midnight when I first called the front desk. The clerk (who sounded like she didn't want to be bothered) said she would do a walk through. The partying continued.. Around 3:30AM I called again and the desk clerk (who was once again was very short with me) said again they would do another walk through. The noise continued until 4:30AM! We complained to the desk clerk when we checked out the next morning and she said they were guys from the National Guard. I asked her if she thought that excused their behavior or the hotel management's inability to take any action? She refunded 15% of the bill, but that was not nearly enough for our lack of sleep and stress of staying there. We will stay at a different establishment next time.
Thank you for your comments. I do appreciate you expressing your frustration as well as providing an outstanding review regarding our property's cleanliness and room presentation. We cannot improve if we are not aware. The entire staff is focused on providing a product which will encourage repeat visits.
With that said, let me offer a sincere apology regarding the fact that neighboring guests to your occupied room turned your stay into a bad experience. I did check our staff logs as well as reviewed your comments with the manager-on -duty. I was informed that staff did patrol the halls. We do enforce quiet hours but it sounds as if we did not identify the root cause of this particular incident. I understand that your issue was discussed at check-out and that your party seemed to appreciate the concern and the discount offer. If you were not satisfied at that point, I wish you would have let us know so we could have taken further action.
Mistakes do happen and I appreciate when we have a chance to overcome them through additional training based important feedback, Thank you. I do hope you will reconsider and give us another chance in the future. Safe travels!
