I was in Mora on business and this hotel was a great choice! The rooms were up to date and very clean. The decor was beautiful in the lobby and staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is very clean and up to date, easy access to get hotel. Rooms have refrigerator and microwave so it made it easy to pack our own lunches everyday as we were not in town while we stayed in Mora.

The pool area was a little dim, especially in the evening but clean and not too busy. The room was clean and quiet at night. We were satisfied with our stay and would stay again if and when in the area.

This hotel is really the only game in town for lodging. It is a decent property which, based on one night in one room, suffers from overlooking some small things---some stains on bathroom wall type things. The beds were comfortable, and the pool area is very nice for a budget conscious hotel, access is a little limited by location on frontage road, room furnishings were up to date, bathroom small. We were in town for a nordic ski race, unfortunately the folks in the room next door were apparently in town to party. A 2 AM call to front desk got a promise to follow up on the boisterous crew next door but noise didn't subside until around 3:30 AM. I assume that the desk either called or visited the room, though I heard no conversations at the door or quietness that would suggest a call or visit---but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I did think that as noise persisted that the staff would make a follow up walk by, but maybe they figured I'd just keep calling if problems persisted. That can be the luck of the draw, but if the desk did follow up or if noise did not meet noisy standards it would suggest Americinn has very thin drywall and/or insulation between rooms. I was disappointed that front desk did not ask 'how was your stay' at check out. After ample time to allow for question, I broke down the previous night experience. Staff did apologize for the 'experience' and left it at that. In my experience, that kind of situation is usually met with an offer for a discount or even a free night on a future stay. I was disappointed. I think what we experienced is not necessarily the 'norm' for this property but it is a cautionary tale that should you have difficulties you probably should not consider a response besides 'I'm sorry for your experience, I'll look into it'...If you have to be in Mora this is the place, if not...Cambridge and even Milaca may have better options for your dollar and experience
I would like to thank you for taking the time to bring this to my attention. I value all input from our guest, as it makes us aware of how we are doing and where we need to improve. I sincerely apologize for your discomfort during your recent stay with us. I understand that this must have been very frustrating for you. We strive to make everyone’s experience relaxing and pleasant so when this is not the case I personally look into the situation and attempt to correct the problem so that it does not happen again. Fortunately, the disruption from other guests you experienced is an unusual situation. In an attempt to eliminate this type of situation in the future we are reevaluating the way that staff handles loud guests, to ensure that when there is a complaint the disruption is stopped immediately. We work hard to ensure that our guests are treated with respect and made to feel comfortable and relaxed.
