Anita made sure we had a room with a view and afterward Jody showed us all the pool lifts we could use for our disabled daughter. Great breakfast, too! We enjoyed the hot tub and everything seemed very clean.

do not stay in this motel! Our credit card was charged an extra $120.94 for something called "incidentals." We still don't understand what this is. We checked in at supper time and left after breakfast the next morning. We incurred no charges. We called the clerk and she stated there is a sign in the lobby stating that a holding fee would be placed on the credit card. How long will it take to remove the $120.94. Highway robbery. We should have stayed at the Holiday Inn where we are treated politely. What a bunch of users.

Using Your Debit/Credit Card
When using your debit/credit card please note:
*When using your debit/credit card at check in, you authorize the dollar amount for your entire stay plus an additional 20% of the total cost for incidental charges to be put on "hold".
*When money is on "hold" you can can only write checks/make other charges for the remaining balance in your account. If you write checks above this balance you will be overdrawn.
*It is possible four your debit/credit card to be accepted by merchants even if the account is overdrawn.
*When you pay for your stay at checkout either on your debit card or other form of payment, depending on your bank it can take 3-15 business days to release the money on "hold" in your account.
We strongly discourage the use of debit cards for your stay.

We get there the front desk lady informs me the slides are closed for maintenance!! But pool hot tub are open,big deal, said they had the maintenance scheduled for a month!! The booking lady failed to tell me that!! I was mad! They took $20 off for the night. Get to our room gross stains/spots on the comforters, crap stuck on carpet, open closet there were clothes left in there from previous people!! Gross, pillow cases looked like dry mascara on them! Nasty, we changed rooms. Second room not much better. Smelled like old man cologne. There were cob webs stringing from lamp shade to ceiling. A big cluster of webs in corner!! Nasty place. Very dated place, kids said arcade ate their tokens too. I will read reviews of the next place I decide to take my family! Be aware

The pool maintenance was scheduled a month out, but on short notice the days of work was changed by contractor performing that work. We thought doing this on a Monday and Tuesday would have the least impact on our guest experience. We apologize for any inconvenience that you may have had. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back and serving you better the next time you are here.
Came in for business and pleasure and both were achieved easily. This place is work and family friendly, great nights rest, comfortable bed. Its nice to come to a place that offers buck night every time you walk in the door. Ill be back for certain.

We were in Ashland for a hockey tournament this weekend. We checked in about 6PM and went to put our items in our room for the weekend, However when we got into our room it was not cleaned, it appeared as though someone else was already assigned this room (beds opened with dirty laundry, garbage and personal items around room). I went to the front desk and told them and there were two girls working at the time, The one was very shocked and nice about everything. they reviewed the cleaning lists and discovered that the other girl is the one that signed off saying that she cleaned the room we were in, she completely denied leaving it like that and was very defensive with the other person. She then came up to the room and was shocked at the condition the room was in and started cleaning it, and called to have someone come help her. she changed the bedding on the couch bed and one of the two queen beds, took the garbage and personal items that were in there and left. We continued on with our Friday evening with the kids in the waterpark area and having fun. Saturday we decided to rent a conference room for our hockey team families as most of the kids were done with the water park as the chemical reaction from the chlorine and ***** in the water was so bad that kids were coughing so hard that they were puking in there. we wanted a place for our team to just hang out together. The girl that had been the housekeeper that supposedly cleaned our room was at the front desk when I reserved the room and she then gave me the key. Saturday evening we leave the room (I locked the door with the key) and we go to the hockey game... Come back to the hotel from the hockey game and another team is in the room that I am paying to use, they said she let them in, she denied it. Well there is only 2 keys for this room I was told and I had one of them with me, the front desk had the other, you do the math there.... I told her I was NOT paying for the room as they were using it now. Later she then decided to give the room back to our team and gave the key to one of the other team parents, we did go use it for a few hours that night.
Problem #1 ROOMS ARE NOT CLEAN
Problem #2 Staff lying to cover there butts - NOT APPROPRIATE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DO NOT BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR SOMETHING YOU DID!!!
As a person that makes several hotel reservations for several teams every season I usually choose AmericInn's for there impeccable service and willingness to work with hockey teams. But I don't think I will send another hockey team to this hotel!!!
