My son and I went to the Packers game. We flew in from Delaware that morning, drove almost 2 hours to hotel, where we were greeted in a most friendly manner by Elizabeth. Fifteen minutes to get ourselves together, and we were off to the game. Five hours later we were back and I found myself sinking into the most comfortable bed ever! Breakfast was decent and our "fairwell" at check out was friendly and included a nice conversation from them, to my son, about his first Packer game. Would definitely stay again! (Clean rooms, fire place/TV in lobby, sparkling bathroom, good coffee)
I am so happy to hear how wonderful your Green Bay experience was! I still can't believe how far our Packer fans will travel to see the "BIG" Game. Green Bay Packer fans are SO much more than the average fan.
It was truly a pleasure to meet you and your son Britainie D, and I can't wait to share your feedback with the rest of our team.
We hope to see you again soon!

First off, I have to explain that I'm a tough grader. For a hotel to earn 4 stars, it has to be exemplary. And I've never stayed at a 5-star hotel - it would have to have world-class appointments and service to earn that mark with me. That being said, the AmericInn Green Bay East is solid lodging. It is clean, comfortable, and a good value. But there is nothing special about it: it is exactly in the middle, and defines - to me - what a 3-star "average" hotel is.
This was only my second visit to Green Bay, and as such, I'm not familiar with the roads. It's a little tricky to get to the hotel, especially with all the road construction currently going on. And once you get on the access road, you have to pay attention: I was a little distracted and turned one exit too early...which put me back on the highway going the wrong way, resulting in a 6-8 mile detour to get back to the hotel (there is literally no way to turn around). But the hotel is located right across the street from a pub, and another block away are a grocery store, liquor store, and multiple other businesses. So it's convenient to run out and get supplies.
The lobby area is open and inviting, with 2-story ceilings. There is a sitting area with TV, and the breakfast area is right off the lobby. We were greeted promptly and check-in was efficient and rapid. There were no cookies left at 8:00pm, but I didn't need the calories anyway.
Our room was clean and well-kept. The first impression is that the hotel is nearing the time that they should do some renovations; this is mostly due to the carpeting, which is well-worn. But everything is tidy. We had the 2-queen bed setup, and there is enough space to move around. The room is well-equipped, with a microwave and refrigerator - I like this. The sink - as in most hotels these days - is outside the shower/bathroom. Overall it is a comfortable room.
The beds were comfortable enough for sleeping, but I suggest bringing your own pillows. AmericInn provides "decorator", or smallish pillows, which I don't find very restful - I want a man-sized pillow! The other suggestion I'd have for the hotel is to provide a more substantial top blanket/comforter. The one provided is more like a fuzzy sheet. Even though I wasn't concerned about warmth, not having a "pretty" comforter on the bed gives one the impression of a cheap hotel room.
I didn't have any issue with noise in our room, which was in the far end of the 2nd floor. It wasn't perfectly quiet, but other guests weren't annoyingly loud, either. The one thing that *did* annoy me about sleeping here is a common complaint I have with many hotels: PUT THE LIGHT SWITCH ON THE INSIDE OF THE BATHROOM! This may seem like a small thing, but it drives me crazy. Most bathrooms - including this one - are located right next to the mirror above the sink. When you turn on the bathroom light if/when you get up in the middle of the night it reflects off the mirror and essentially lights up the entire room. If you put the light switch INSIDE the bathroom - where it is in your house, my house, EVERYONE'S house - then you can close the door before turning on the light. I just don't understand why hotels do this. And on this same topic - and here's something that you can do to retrofit the hotel cheaply - put a night light in the bathroom! Then you don't even need to turn on the light, and you don't have to move your light switch! And it's SO much easier on the eyes in the middle of the night!
Having breakfast included with your stay is important to me, and is one of my chief criteria in selecting a hotel. This AmericInn provided a very nice breakfast. There were scrambled eggs, bacon (not the best, not the worst), sausage (I believe turkey-sausage), English muffins, pastries, toast, yogurt, waffles, cereals, etc. Very comprehensive. The breakfast area was kept clean, and there was plenty of space. All in all, they do a nice job.
This hotel is a good place to stay, with comfortable lodging, good breakfast, and good value. It's just that there's nothing above average, and nothing below average. It's just the perfect average hotel!
I can't thank you enough for such a thorough review of our property and amenities. We will continue to work on the areas that will help us to obtain an exceptional rating by all of our guests, and we are truly thankful for your time and attention.

I have stayed at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites Green Bay East once or twice a month for a few years now. They have some employee turn over like most hotels have but Amanda (Manager) is a great person and her employee follow her lead. Great place to stay
Thank you SO much for your kind review! I can't say enough about your guest loyalty - Just know that you are truly appreciated!
We look forward to your upcoming visit and can't wait to get your feedback on the NEW AmericInn Elite Easy Rewards Program!
Warmest regards and many, many thanks!
