We stayed here one night when moving my nephew into his dorm at the University of Wyoming. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main campus area. It is quiet and clean and we felt safe. When you walk into the lobby, it looks like an old lodge with lots of wood and a large fire place and they have cookies, soup, coffee and tea available all day.
The front desk staff were amazing. Extremely friendly, offered good recommendations for restaurants and really made us feel welcomed. There was a couple trying to check in when we arrived, but the hotel was sold out. The front desk staff suggested other hotels in the area and offered to call to see if they had availability before they drove off. You don't see this level of caring and service very often today.
The room was average size and very clean. The bathroom was small, but clean and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. WiFi / Internet connection was good even in the room. Our room faced the main road, but we didn't hear any noise from outside.
They served a continental breakfast (you'll need to drive a short distance to go to restaurants). The morning we were there, they had sausage patties and eggs, along with various toast, pastries, cereal, pancakes, yogart, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and 2-3 juices.
The hotel has a pool and hot tub, but due to our short stay we didn't use them.
I will definitely stay here again when visiting the University of Wyoming!!
The hotel more than met our expectations. I was impressed with the soup and the cookies in the lobby during the afternoon, as well as the variety of breakfast items. The room was really nice and the beds were comfortable.
This is an excellent place to stay, rooms are big and very clean, beds are excellent.. Front desk help is outstanding...Overall most excellent place for a peaceful nights sleep !!! If you are ever in this area, don't look around for a great place to stay !!!

We spent one night at the AmericInn in Laramie on a road trip from Colorado to Seattle. We have to say that this was the finest accommodation we have encountered in recent travels. The lobby has been designed to match the term 'lodge' with some Western decor, and with comfortable furniture. A calm is reinforced by piped classical music--a real plus in our eyes (and ears). Our welcome was cordial and efficient. We learned that we could pre-order some special items for the next morning's breakfast service and took that option. However, I can say that had we not, we'd have had ample choices for food. The breakfast room was nicely appointed AND real metal cutlery and china plates are employed! We had a room on the third floor which was very nicely appointed, with effective wi-fi and broad choices on the television. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a very good night's sleep. The room was extremely quiet, even when we did turn on the a.c.
The only flaw was that the carpet appeared to have been soiled by some earlier guest and the stains had not been entirely wiped away. Still, the room seemed otherwise clean.
This facility is at the eastern extremity of Grand Avenue in Laramie, just a short distance off I-80 on the Business-80 route. Thus, while you can get just about anywhere in town in a short while, the on and off I-80 access is excellent. BUT, don't be hesitant about turning in--there is only one driveway on the south front of the property and if missed, a second pass by is needed.
We stay here each time in laramie . It is clean , nice pool hot tub , cookies at desk , 24 hour coffee . Good breakfast . Nice soft beds with awesome pillows beautiful lobby friendly people work there
